New Year New StrategyIt’s a new year and it’s time to rethink your current digital marketing strategy. Has your current strategy been getting you the results you want? If it hasn’t, it’s time to make a change. Sometimes it’s all about getting back to basics and this is where I recommend starting.


You have to be online these days if you want to be found. Everything is online, including, and especially, your target audience. In fact, more than 40% of the world population is online. But, simply having a website isn’t going to cut it. Your website needs to be mobile- and user-friendly.

I recommend using WordPress for your website because it’s easy to use, user-friendly, and most themes are already optimized for mobile devices.


Your digital marketing strategy should absolutely include a blog. This is where you can share industry related content, including announcements, how-to articles, and so on. You need to be consistent with blogging and you should publish at least one post per week.

Your blog posts should be shared across your social media platforms. This not only gets them out there, but it also helps increase the SEO for your website. The higher your page rank, the more visible your website will be.


Offering a newsletter is a great way to grow your email list and stay in contact with your current clients, fans and audience. Your newsletter should include company news and announcements and any other information that is in line with your business and strategy. The newsletter serves as a gateway to keep the lines of communication open between your business and your audience.
